In general, the rules are written to tell you what you can do, not what you can’t do. If a rule doesn’t specifically tell you to do something, you do not do it.
Always fully resolve an action before moving to the next step (e.g. Complete a Crashland before playing a card).

Exploration & Tiles
- Does Crashlanding cost movement?
- No.
- Does Crashlanding count as “Entering”?
- Yes.
- When Crashlanding, can a different Tile be chosen after revealing, resolving, and replacing an Anomaly Alert?
- No. The Tile that replaces an Anomaly Alert is the target of the Crashland. Repeat the Reveal Sequence for each Tile until reaching a Map Tile.
- Are Landmark Spaces considered “empty”?
- Yes, but only when they have no Tokens, Aliens, or Pioneers on them.
- Can a Pioneer go from Cave to Cave on different Tiles?
- Yes.
- Do multiple Magmatic Flow cards stack and increase the damage?
- No.
- In Safe Zones, can Pioneers enter spaces with other Pioneers or Aliens?
- No.
- Can a Pioneer’s movement ever go above 9?
- No. If it would go above 9 it stops at 9 and the extra movement is lost.
- Can a Pioneer’s health ever go above 20?
- No. If it would go above 20 it stops at 20 and the extra health is lost.
- What does PCC-MKIV stand for?

Draw & Cards
- Can cards be played before Crashlanding?
- Yes. Explorer cards can be played before Crashlanding.
- When do Discovery cards resolve?
- Completely finish drawing cards before resolving each Discovery card one at a time.
- When resolving multiple Discovery cards, is the deck Shuffled after each one?
- No. Resolve all the Discovery cards and then Shuffle them all into the deck in one go.
- Is there a maximum hand size?
- No.
Aliens Attack & Combat
- Can Combat cards be used to Boost Alien rolls?
- No
- When a Pioneer is defeated, are any Ranks lost?
- No.
